We are committed to the advancement and education of Missouri's histology technicians and technologists. We have quarterly business meetings in Columbia, MO, and all histology techs (ASCP registered or not) are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Missouri Society for Histotechnology 2010 Symposium was a success again (View and print pictures of the event*).
- 59 registrants attended the 12 educational programs who allow them to earn up to 12 CEUs.
- 20 companies participated and joined us during this annual meeting. View the list and their contact information by viewing our vendor page .
In addition Konnie Zeitner (Nebraska Medical Center and NSH Region V president) and Jancy Welborn (University of Missouri) are the recipients of the 2010 awards.

The Stat Lab award was presented by Dick Paulson to Jancy Wellborn for her dedication and support to the MHT and the field of histotechnology.

Konnie Zietner received the President award remitted by Amanda Kelley (MHT President) for her outstanding and dedicated service to the MHT.
